This summer sees an excellent range of tennis activities for juniors and adults coming to our sports centres and Christchurch Park.
With activities available for 5 years old to adult, there’s the opportunity to play tennis across the town.
Ipswich has been chosen to host a Tennis Foundation ‘PUSH-2-PODIUM’ Event. This is a Wheelchair Tennis Talent ID session set up following the success of GB players at the 2016/2017 Wimbledon Championships. This will be hosted at Ipswich Sports Club, which is a National Centre and will be a part of the wider community tennis programme being delivered in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for wheelchair tennis players to get noticed and potentially be identified on the talent pathway.
The session will run from 12.30pm – 3:30pm on Sunday 1st October
