How can I sign up to a membership?

The best way to sign up to our memberships is online. To sign up click here.

How much are your memberships?
We offer great choice in our membership packages and as a result we are confident you will find something to meet your needs. For more information on membership types and prices please visit our memberships page.
Can I suspend my membership?

We allow our members to suspend their membership for a period of time, at no cost. This is ideal for people who are going away for a period of time, are injured or ill or will be unable to use their membership. This makes it easier for customers to return and you do not need to re-setup your memberships.

If you would like to suspend your membership please fill in our online form.

You must restart your membership on the same day as your direct debit payment and you must specify this in the form. 

How can I cancel my membership?

All cancellations must be made 7 days prior to your next Direct Debit payment. If there are less than 7 days to your next direct debit you must cancel the direct debit with your bank directly otherwise payment may still be taken.

If you would like to cancel your membership please complete the online form which will be processed within 24 working hours. You will receive and email to confirm.

What age do I have to be to get a Young Person Plus iCard?

Anyone aged 17 years and under can apply for an iCard Young Person Plus. For further information please see our Memberships and Terms and Conditions.

What is an interim payment?
It’s the portion of the month you pay for before your first Direct Debit is taken to allow you to enjoy the benefits of your membership straight away.
Am I eligible for a concession price? / What concession proof do I need to bring in?

Concessionary prices are available for:

  • Children
  • Students
  • Pensioners
  • Disabled users
  • Financially disadvantaged

Proof of some of these benefits are required to apply for concessionary prices.

We accept the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • Income Support
  • Income based Job Seekers Allowance
  • State Retirement Pension
  • Personal Independence Payments
  • Disability Living Allowance (Mobility and Care Component)
  • Full time students
  • Employment Support Allowance
  • Child Tax Credit (taxable below £15,910)
There is a debt on my iCard, how can I pay this?

To pay a debt please phone us on 01473 433655 and we will take payment over the phone. Please note at this time we cannot take payments in centres.

How can I book my gym induction?

When you sign up to a gym membership you will be given a Health Commitment Statement to read and accept. You will not need an induction as a result. If you are a Young Person + member and want an induction, just book yourself onto a gym session and make the instructor aware when you arrive and they will give you an induction on the equipment.

Do you have a gym only membership?

Yes we are now offering gym only memberships which gives you use of all our gyms. For more information go to our Memberships page.

Do you do memberships just for one particular centre?

We pride ourselves on the range of activities available across our centres and this is reflected in our memberships that include access to all of our centres. There are no centre specific memberships. For more information check out our memberships.

Do you get discounts on swimming lessons with your membership?

No our iCard memberships don’t give you discounts on swimming lessons.
