View 3 Day Trial T & Cs
  1. The 3 Day Trial pass is designed for those people wishing to trial our facilities before signing up for a membership.
  2. The 3 Day Trial can only be redeemed by new members only.
  3. The 3 Days start from the members’ chosen start date and will expire after 3 days. Please note the pass only covers a period of 3 consecutive days and cannot be split into 3 separate days.
  4. The 3-Day Trial will include all activities that are available on the Gym, swim, and Classes icard or the young person+ icard.
  5. All Racquet Sports, Swimming lessons and Junior courses are excluded from this offer.
  6. Classes must be booked before visiting our facilities.
  7. The 3 Day Trial is non-transferrable.
  8. The 3 Day Trial has no cash value.
  9. The 3 Day Trial can be redeemed by completing our contact form above.
  10. We recommend completing an induction before using the gym. If you choose not to, please ask a member of staff to sign a Health Commitment Statement on your first visit to the Centre.
  11. Ipswich fit reserve the right to contact you following the completion of your 3 day trial.
View Refer a Friend T & Cs
  1. An existing Member is anyone that has a Direct Debit Membership.
  2. You can refer a friend to any membership as long as they pay by direct debit.
  3. Young Person members can only refer other Young Person members, while all other memberships can refer anyone.
  4. You can refer up to 3 friends and you will receive a maximum of 1 month free for each friend.
  5. To qualify for your free month your referred friend must commit and pay 3 full months by Direct Debit.
  6. All members must continue to abide by the iCard Terms and Conditions.
  7. This offer is non refundable.
  8. Ipswich Borough Council has the right to remove this offer at any point without notification.
  9. The Refer a friend offer cannot be used to add friends retrospectively.

Code of Conduct

Ipswich Fit Gyms

Code of Conduct for Ipswich Fit Gyms

 

  • Users should wear appropriate dress when participating in the gyms.  This includes comfortable gym wear (no jeans, skirts or dresses).  Proper athletic trainers must be worn at all times (closed – toe).
  • No jewellery or accessories that may cause injury.
  • Do not add extra weights to any resistance machines or cable pulleys.
  • If shared facilities are busy, please consider others and be patient or work in with others if possible.
  • Litter should be put in the bins provided and please report any spillages to staff.
  • Users should treat staff and fellow users with courtesy and respect.  Abusive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Report any emergency or first aid incidents to a member of staff.
  • Keep noise levels as low as possible, use headphones and avoid loud phone conversations.
  • Wipe down equipment after use.
  • Return all equipment back to its proper place once used.
  • Limit use of machines to 20 minutes during busy periods.
  • Warm up before and cool down after each workout.
  • Ask for spotter if lifting heavy weights and never exceed your limitations.
  • Do not block fire exits
  • Any form of violence, abusive or unruly behaviour can result in your membership being terminated.
  • No videography or photography is permitted within the gym.
  • All personal belongings including bags, coats should be locked in a locker and not brought onto the gym floor
  • For hygiene reasons can all customers endeavour where possible to bring in their own personal towels for workouts
Junior Clubs & Activities

When attending junior clubs and activities you must follow the below rules:

 

  1. Play within the rules and respect your coach and the decisions they make.
  2. Respect each other.
  3. Arrive on time, as a warm-up is essential for your safety.
  4. Wear suitable clothing, remove jewellery and tie back long hair.
  5. Be aware that bullying, swearing and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  6. Do not take food or drinks onto the playing area.
  7. Advise your coach of any illnesses or injuries you may have.
Trampolining

As well as following the above rules for clubs and activities, you must:

 

  1. Wear socks.
  2. Only use trampolines when the coach has given permission.
  3. Not swing or go under the trampolines or end deck.
  4. Stand beside the trampoline whilst waiting for your turn, if children are too small, their adult should do this.
  5. Watch the performer and pay attention to your coach.
  6. Not run around the hall.
